Chinese foreign minister resists S. Korean pressure to stop repatriation of N. Korean defectors
During talks over the weekend with visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, South Korea failed to make any progress in persuading China to stop repatriating North Korean defectors, according to the JoongAng Ilbo. Yang held talks in Seoul with President Lee Myung-bak and South Korean Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan.
